The "Cracow Manuscript" with pieces for viola da gamba solo is one ofthe most important testimonies of the gamba literature of the 17thcentury. It contains a total of 140 individual pieces by Dubuisson,Nicolas Hotman and William Young and was written between 1650 and1670. We are publishing this extensive collection in a new editioncomplete and in the original order, divided into five issues. Thedegree of difficulty of the pieces varies, but the music is alwaysworth playing, so that it should be a pleasure for every gambist tostudy this collection intensively.
